December 12 The Department of Engineering and Technology of the Faculty of Business and Technology of Utenos kolegija organized the traditional competition "UKTech@s 2023", popularizing technological sciences for students.
This year's competition was international: it was attended not only by students from schools in the Eastern Highlands region, but also by a team of students from Malava College at the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
The contestants performed practical tasks in chemistry, physics, information technology and robotics laboratories, participated in a STEAM quiz.
The commission, which was formed by head of department Gražina Stasiulionienė, associate professor dr. Inga Jakštonienė and lecturer Antanas Ruzgus, after summing up the results, the prize winners were revealed:
- The 1st place went to the Ignalina Česlovos Kudaba high school team;
- 2nd place - for the 1st team of Anykščiai J. Biliūnas Gymnasium;
- III place - for the 1st team of Utena A. Šapoka Gymnasium.
