On 15-19 April, Utenos kolegija Higher Education Institution hosted the ERASMUS+ International Week, which was attended by representatives of higher education institutions from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine and Georgia.

The week was full of various events. The Faculty of Business and Technology invited the Utena HEI community and guests from Lithuania and abroad to the 8th Conference "Aspects of Sustainable Development: theory and practice". Technology for the sustainability of modern society, environmental sustainability, human well-being and social responsibility, partnership between education, science and business, sustainability of leisure and tourism - these are the themes reflected in the presentations of lecturers and students.

The Faculty of Medicine organised the fourth edition of the conference "Evidence-based practice: from health to social well-being". The conference featured presentations and discussions on integrated personal care and interdisciplinary collaboration, the application of digitalisation in practice, evidence-based nursing education and other issues.

Other events included a seminar on "Connecting Bridges: Research and Development, Higher Education and Society. Impact on the region", meetings with international guests and presentations by their institutions, lectures for college students.

The guests got acquainted with the sites of Utena, revealing the city's multiculturalism, and visited the Museum of Regional History of Utena. The week ended with an evening where the dance and song ensemble "Vieversa" from the Utena Culture Centre helped the international guests to get acquainted with Lithuanian culture.
