Possibilities of international cooperation networking

On December 4-8, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology Dr. Vaida Bartkutė-Norkūnienė and faculty specialist for studies Aušra Lankauskienė participated in the Erasmus+ international week organized by the European University together with Kutaisi University in Tbilisi, Sakartvel.

Representatives of higher education institutions from 10 countries participated in the international week: Lithuania (Utenos kolegija and Kaunas College), Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Croatia, Slovakia, Turkey and Sakartvelo. During the international week, representatives of the European University and Kutaisi University administrations, heads of study programs presented study programs, scientific activities, published scientific journals and publication opportunities in the university faculties.

The participants of the week could see the material base of the European University: auditoriums, laboratories, simulation centers, student houses. The simulation center of the Faculty of Medicine, the teaching dental clinic, the specialized auditorium for students of the Law study program - the Sakartvelo Constitution Hall - were very impressed.

On the last day of the international week, personal thematic sessions on the development of cooperation networks were held on the issues of internationality, science and scientific research, and the development of academic cooperation.

The program of the week was diversified by seminars on learning the Georgian language, painting workshops, sightseeing tour of Tbilisi, sightseeing tour of Eastern Georgia and culinary/wine tour.

The visit of faculty representatives to the European University in Tbilisi opened up new opportunities for the creation, strengthening and development of international cooperation networks.
